For most of the last two years, Israel has been embroiled in an ongoing election campaign, with four elections taking place in less than two years. Most of the time, we were governed by transition governments and for a short time by a permanent government that only lasted a few months. It has been chaotic, to say the least.
Yesterday a new government was sworn in and for the first time in 12 years, Binyamin Netanyahu is no longer the Prime Minister of Israel. There has been so much misinformation floating around, with each side accusing the other and muddying the waters. In this clip, I attempt to summarize what has happened and provide my own analysis as to the implications and chances for success. The situation continues to be complicated but I remain optimistic, imbued with faith that G-d is in charge.
I hope you will join me in praying for the success of this new government, and particularly for the success of Naftali Bennett, a right-wing politician leading a motley coalition. His success will be our success and he deserves our blessing. If he is outmaneuvered by the far left, then we will all be sorry.
Please forward this message to anyone who, like you, is curious about this new government, formed just last night. And if you want to help strengthen the settlement movement so that it can withstand any problematic government policy, click here. Your support will truly be a blessing to us.
Shalom from Samaria,
Sondra
