Three Seas Outlook Tour

Visit Israel without leaving your home!

This episode of CFOIC Heartland’s Virtual Tours is a very special one. Join Sondra as she brings you to her favorite place in all of Samaria, the Three Seas Outlook, and leads you on a foundational Biblical journey from the days of Abraham to the return of the Jewish People to their Homeland by the Oaks of Moreh.

I am so excited to share this “virtual tour” clip with you as we have filmed it on the spot most precious to me. But not only that – from the Three Seas Outlook, you have a view of the most important Biblical mountains – Mt. Gerizim, Mt. Ebal and the Oak of Moreh. Thank you for joining me on a Biblical journey from the days of Abraham to the return of the Jewish People to their Homeland. You don’t want to miss it!

I hope you enjoyed this video from the Three Seas Outlook. In addition to providing an amazing understanding of the Biblical Foundation of the Jewish People’s connection to the Land of Israel, it also gives you a chilling understanding of the security challenges faced by the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. Adjacent to those Biblical mountains of Gerizim and Ebal is the city of Shechem, whose Biblical connection is clear. But today, Shechem is a center for Palestinian terrorism. As are the many villages in the valley surrounding Shechem. Just above these hostile Arab villages are Jewish communities who must be constantly vigilant against possible infiltration from below.

Imagine if you were a young woman, with a young family, living in one of these communities, and expecting your fourth child. In addition to the challenges faced by every woman you are going to worry every time you need to leave your home to go to work, to shop or even to go for your regular doctor’s appointment. You can help these young women in the Jewish communities surrounding Shechem. Click here to support the Regional Urgent Care Center and help purchase an ultrasound machine to serve these brave pregnant women.

May God bless you richly!

An Eye on Zion: Kochav Yaakov

Just over a century later, a group of devout pioneers sharing the same love and passion for the Land of Israel, founded a new community just north of Jerusalem. Drawing their inspiration from Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira, they named it “Abir Yaakov,” the same venerated title that was used to address the late Rabbi during his life. Subsequently renamed “Kochav Yaakov,” (“Star of Jacob”), the community has absorbed many Jews who, like Rabbi Abuhatzeira, left their respective countries of birth to live in the Land of Israel.

Life in a Villa in a Jungle

It is hard to believe that another year has gone by—another year of seemingly unending war, tragedy, loss. There are still 100 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. While at least 36 have been murdered, it is not clear how many of the remaining 64 are still alive.

On Friday evening of May 2, 1980, a group of students from Nir Yeshiva, located on the outskirts of the Biblical city of Hebron, excitedly headed to the Cave of Machpelah. There, they joyfully welcomed in the Sabbath with uplifting prayers.
