A Tour that will Change Your Life

Late Registration Fee delayed until May 15, 2020!  Register before May 15th to avoid additional costs.

Given the uncertainty in air travel at this time, we understand that you may be hesitant to register for this tour.  Based on information we are receiving from the tourism industry, we should have much more clarity by the end of April.  However, if you do register now, we will ensure that you get your money back in full by May 15th, should the situation indicate at that time that the coronavirus is still affecting travel plans to Israel.

What has drawn me back for extended visits to the Land of Israel for the last 20 years when I feel it was an “accident” that I went there in the first place? The Land calls to me. The sights, sounds, and smells are imprinted on my soul. Why? I have no physical explanation. In the natural, there is nothing that would call us to this tiny stretch of earth. And yet, there is something very special about this place. There is a reason that it is called the Holy Land and that the last verse in the book of Ezekiel says of Jerusalem “the name of the City shall be called THE LORD IS THERE”!! Ezek 48:35

If you are one of those who have that desire to visit Israel, I encourage you to take a step of faith and follow that call. You will never be the same! Why or how I cannot explain, but I have witnessed it year after year. You never read your Bible the same way again — something about seeing where your favourite Biblical events took place makes them come alive like never before. It also gives you an understanding of what’s happening in the world today which is vital when we see the encroaching darkness coming upon the nations.  But great light is shining out of Israel in so many ways – witness their prominence in technology, innovations, agriculture.  Isaiah 60:1-2.

I invite you to join me on our second From the Bible to Modern Israel Tour of Israel October 16th to the 29th with its special focus on visiting the courageous and Godly residents of Judea and Samaria – those people who are fulfilling 3000 year-old prophecies found in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Amos (to name a few) pertaining to “settling” the mountains of Israel again. As you meet them and hear their stories you’ll be encouraged in your own faith, and you’ll have a greater understanding of the challenges they face on a daily basis. This is where 80 % of our Bible is located, so we also visit many of the ancient sites like Hebron, Shiloh and the Mountain of Blessing (Har Bracha) and partake of modern day produce from the Land. And I mustn’t forget to mention the panoramic views you will be privy to that are absolutely breathtaking.

We also visit many of the traditional Christian sites which are always spiritually meaningful whether it is your first time in Israel or not. In addition we have built in visits to key Israeli battle sites both past and current and museums/memorials to the Jewish people’s pioneering efforts, in order for you to gain an appreciation of the courage and challenges involved in settling the Land. We will also pay homage to the Australian and New Zealand brave ANZAC soldiers under British command,  who were used mightily by God in WWI to oust the Ottoman Empire from the Land.  These brave men played an important role in the ultimate creation of the modern-day State of Israel.

The cost of this amazing tour, not including airfare, is $5600 AUD and $3600 US, if paying by cheque or bank transfer. Add $100 for payment by Credit Card. An Eye on Zion: Kochav Yaakov

Just over a century later, a group of devout pioneers sharing the same love and passion for the Land of Israel, founded a new community just north of Jerusalem. Drawing their inspiration from Rabbi Yaakov Abuhatzeira, they named it “Abir Yaakov,” the same venerated title that was used to address the late Rabbi during his life. Subsequently renamed “Kochav Yaakov,” (“Star of Jacob”), the community has absorbed many Jews who, like Rabbi Abuhatzeira, left their respective countries of birth to live in the Land of Israel.

Life in a Villa in a Jungle

It is hard to believe that another year has gone by—another year of seemingly unending war, tragedy, loss. There are still 100 hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. While at least 36 have been murdered, it is not clear how many of the remaining 64 are still alive.
