Emergency and Security

Saving Lives Every Single Day

For more than 50 years, the people of Judea and Samaria have suffered from terrorist attacks. Jews were murdered on the streets of Hebron as they returned from prayers at the Tomb of the Patriarchs. Arab terrorists have blown up children at pizza shops and attacked Jews as they traveled to work, played basketball, or slept in their beds. “But the more they were oppressed, the more they increased” (Exodus 1:12). Miraculously, despite these attacks, the handful of pioneers who first settled in Judea in 1967 has grown to more than half a million Jews throughout Judea and Samaria. While the people of Judea and Samaria are fully conscious of their prophetic role in God’s plan for Israel, they are also well-grounded in reality and take the safety of their families very seriously. The IDF is fully responsible for the security of Judea and Samaria, but there is often a shortage of resources to ensure each community is fully protected. Surveillance cameras have long been vital to a community’s security, but so are communications devices, protective gear, and binoculars. Given timely warning, the community’s civilian security staff can notify the military immediately, and an attack can be prevented.
