About Argaman

Founded by a group of young, dedicated pioneers, the community of Argaman was the second community established in the Jordan Valley after the liberation of the Biblical Heartland in 1967. Located just north of Gilgal, where the Children of Israel first encamped in the Land of Israel after their exodus from Egypt, Argaman today stands as an emblem of resilience and continued growth. Notwithstanding the harsh, arid conditions of the Jordan Valley, the pioneers of Argaman succeeded in creating a thriving agricultural settlement, now known for its fertile vineyards and flourishing date palms.

Raising funds for their playground

Perched on a windswept hilltop in the Hebron Hills, the young community of Avigayil is home to brave families raising children in one of Israel’s most remote areas. Without a proper playground, children play on rocky terrain, and families lack a central place to gather. The residents of Avigayil are determined to build a safe and joyful playground—but they can’t do it alone. With your partnership, this dream can become a place of laughter, connection, and community spirit.

Isolated and underdeveloped, the community of Avigayil relies on its small library as a lifeline for education and community life. With your help, this modest space can be expanded and upgraded to better serve its growing population. Your gift will provide new furnishings and much-needed renovations—turning the library into a true center for growth, learning, and unity in this remote corner of Judea.
