GIVING TO THE NEXT GENERATION

Shadmot Mechola was founded on a legacy of commitment and perseverance. It was established in 1984 as a religious, cooperative agricultural community. When the first pioneers arrived in the area that is now Shadmot Mechola, they could not identify a strip of arable land for miles.

Located on the northern edges of the Jordan Valley in a region which typically experiences hot, scorching summers, the prospects for establishing a new agricultural community were not promising, to say the least. However, driven by a mission to restore every corner of the Biblical Heartland, Shadmot Mechola’s founders persisted. Through hard work and with God’s blessing, they built and developed an agricultural oasis.

Forty years later, Shadmot Mechola stands as an emblem of persistence and a role model for Israeli society. But it was the close-knit relationships between the founding families that gave the community the strength to persist, despite the challenges. It is this community strength that Shadmot Mechola would like to bequeath to their children.  And there is no better way to do that than through a quality youth program.

For eight years, Shadmot Mechola has worked to build a youth center for the many activities of the youth program, including social gatherings, volunteering, prayer, Bible Study and so much more. Today, the building is complete but unfurnished. Shadmot Mechola needs your help to fulfill its dream and create an attractive youth center.
